打开探索之门，拥抱新学期
金秋九月，每一缕阳光，都为孩子们闪耀；每一片鲜花，都为孩子们灿烂；每一滴雨露，都为孩子们滋润；每一份祝福，都为孩子们而生。孩子们，我们开学啦！请打开探索之门，一起拥抱新学期吧！
下面让我们一起来瞧一瞧新学期都有哪些IPC探究学习主题吧。
Grade 1 & 2：How are you
In this unit, we look at the concepts of prevention and cure. At the classroom level, we can talk to the children about cures for illness and ways of preventing them. Some diseasesare difficult to prevent while others are relatively easy to keep at bay.
健康是生命的根基，锻炼是健康的源泉。教会孩子热爱生命、加强锻炼，拥有健康的身体，应该是最重要的人生主题。我们将通过进行一系列丰富有趣的探究活动，使孩子们懂得健康的饮食、健康的运动以及充足的睡眠可以使我们的身体保持最佳状态，同时学会自我保护，以免细菌入侵。通过学习儿童心理，让孩子们懂得沟通，懂得释放情绪，保持健康的心理状态和良好的适应能力。
Grade 3：Water world
Water is important for life.Water supports all living things. It is a fundamental element of our world. Without it the Earth would bebarren and lifeless-there would be no plants, animals, seas, rivers, mountains, atmosphere-and therewould be no us. We depend on water.
水是生命之源，是所有生物赖以生存的资源，是我们世界的重要组成部分，如果没有水，我们的地球会变得贫瘠，没有生命。水，它孕育并维持着地球上万物生灵。通过本主题的学习让孩子们养成科学用水、节约用水的良好生活习惯，树立保护水资源的意识，争做节水和爱水的少年，共同致力于节约、保护水资源。
Grade 4：The things people do
When we come to school our parents probably go to work. What things do they do at work, who do they work with and why do they have to work anyway? Let’s find out together about the grown-up world of work.
社会分工是职业分类的依据，在分工体系的每一个环节上，劳动对象、劳动工具以及劳动形式都有其特殊性，这种特殊性决定了各种职业的区别。通过这个主题的学习让学生了解各种职业，并学会懂得尊重和珍惜他人的劳动成果。
Grade 5：Sound and light
Through inquiry learning, the pupils can know the generation and classification of light and sound. They can apply the knowledge of light and sound in the really life. At the same time, they can understand the importance of sound and light, then improve the children's aesthetic. We hope they can take care of our world and cherish our life.
通过探究学习知道光与声音的产生及分类，能把光和声音的知识应用在生活中，同时让学生切身体会声音和光的重要性，并提高孩子们的审美，升华孩子们的关爱、珍惜等情感。
Grade 6：Living together
The purpose of this unit is to help the children to be aware of and celebrate these communities and to appreciate the freedoms that we have to communicate with others. More importantly, this unit aims to encourage the children to understand people and their differences.
这个主题的目的是帮助孩子们了解、欣赏身边的社区，并学会与人交流。更重要的是，这个主题引导孩子们去理解、尊重不同的人。孩子们要学会尊重、支持他人并与他人合作，这样才能成为对社区有贡献的人。
